810 CrossFit runs an official before school strength & conditioning program for Powers Catholic High School athletes. The program focuses on Constantly Varied Functional Movements, executed at High Intensity. The idea is to maximize the functionality of the weight room on the field, court, mat, rink, etc... and to avoid redundancy or the potential of a fitness plateau. A typical day will consist of coached speed/agility drills, linear progression weightlifting, and/or a dose of metabolic conditioning.
The classes meet all Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday NORMAL START school days from 6:40AM-7:40AM in the High School weight room. The $20/4 week membership accommodates for the software necessary to report attendance and performance results to coaches.
