About Us

810 CrossFit is a community located in Grand Blanc, MI that is dedicated to elite health & fitness.  All different walks of people are welcome in our gym: males and females, from the young to the elderly, from the professional athlete to the de-conditioned athlete.  However, there is one major theme in our gym that is a non-negotiable from all members:  WE ALL BRING OUR "A" GAME TO EVERY WORKOUT!  We are dedicated to serving all of your fitness needs as long as YOU show up ready to go.  WE want to help YOU get into the best shape of your life. 

When you show up to our gym you will learn new skills you never thought were possible, you will gain/keep/restore functionality to your life, and you will be surrounded by others who demand nothing less than 100% to staying healthy & fit!  Our gym runs mostly in a class setting... We will program for you a warm-up, a workout, and a cool-down every day.  You will know what is expected of you and will be coached on how to get through every second of your workouts. 

Why try us? Well, there are a few things to consider:

1.  We all need a coach.  Regardless of our fitness level and expertise, we all have a tendency to program our own workouts to what we are good at.  At 810 Crossfit we will have you engaged in activities that are your wheelhouse and we will get you to a fitness level where activities that you were once not good at are now your wheelhouse! 

2.  Our community demands the best from you!  When we surround ourselves with people striving for the same high demands as us, we all raise the level one more notch.  Think about it, we WANT you in our gym.  Most gyms do not WANT you there... if all of their members showed up at once they would be in a heap of trouble!  Your monthly membership fees are what they WANT to keep showing up.  We want to hold you accountable for your health/fitness... and we want you to hold us accountable!

3.  CrossFit is Constantly Varied Functional Movements executed at High Intensity.  We are not wasting time here doing movements that are not functional to life.  What you will learn/restore/keep from us can help you everywhere in life... you will excel in cardiorespiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, accuracy, agility, and balance.  By excelling and holding a priority in these 10 general physical skills we will improve our quality of life & keep ourselves from the onset of decrepitude!

4.  CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.
